Field trip to the Rice Museum

On Monday, my class went to the Rice Museum in Hillsboro, Oregon. 

 
This is Rhodochrosite. It is found in Colorado and is very rare. People used to trade it for beer.

This me looking at some petrified wood.It is hard,cold,and smooth.
